96% Hot Water, Space Heating
and Solar: A Case Study

The system below is installed at the JTG/Muir building in Oakland, California. The system is capable of simultaneous 60,000 BTU radiant heating and 60,000 BTU air handler heating with priority domestic hot water supply (335 gallon/1st hour). Solar heat is supplied by two 4'x10' STS flat plate solar collectors with a projected 65% solar fraction.
